Royal Botanic Gardens

Right in the heart of Sydney are the Royal Botanic Gardens. These stunning gardens hold a special place in the hearts and minds of both Sydneysiders and visitors from all over the world. The greatest thing about the gardens is that they’re used by so many different people for many different reasons. Here are a few of them;

Walking and Jogging in the Gardens
Go for a stroll, go for a jog, go flat out!! The Gardens cater to all. Nothing beats an early morning stroll as the City wakes up, or a morning jog through the park and along the water. What a way to start your day!

Take time to discover
The area is much larger than you might think, so ensure you have plenty of time. The Gardens are divided into areas that showcase different types of plants and trees, such as the Fern House and the Cactus Gardens. Walk the paths along the water that provide great views of the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Then make sure to check out, MrsMcquarie’s Chair, an interesting historic attraction at the north edge of the park.

Take time to relax
The gardens provide an ideal location for a quiet afternoon picnic with your loved one or a place to just sit and watch the harbour and catch up with a good book!

What ever your reason, take time to explore the Royal Botanical Gardens, but make sure to plan enough time, as there never seems to be enough of it once your there.
