Great rides, great food, and an unbelievable location, Luna Park in Sydney’s north, is the ideal place to spend a day with family and friends. This amusement park experience with a 1930s theme starts far before walking through the iconic ‘Clown Face’ at the park. Hopping aboard the ferry and cruising across the Sydney Harbour to start your day is something you won’t experience at many other amusement parks. Once you get there, walk through the clown’s face at the entrance and you will be immersed into a wonderful place filled with an authentic ambiance that is not often duplicated in other themed park attractions.
Strolling through the park you will notice hand painted signs fixed to all the buildings, old fashioned stilt walkers, friendly staff and performers roaming and dancing all over the place.
For those with an adventurous spirit there are games, big slides, and much more to keep you entertained. Enjoy old time favourites like hot dogs, fairy floss, and ice cream, or relax at one of the sit down dining locations.
Luna Park is incredible by day, but at night when sitting atop the ferris wheel and overlooking the Sydney Harbour there’s something magical about it…that’s my favourite memory. What’s yours?
Have you had an unforgettable experience at Luna Park?
