Sunny perch: I love having Sunday breakfast outside at The Gardeners Lodge, our 100 per cent indigenous-owned cafe, looking across into the beautiful Victoria Park on a sunny day.

Snack stop: A walk through Carriageworks Farmers Market on a Saturday morning is another must – make sure you do it while savouring a Crooked Madam from Alex Herbert’s Bird, Cow Fish stall and a pork dumpling from Kylie Kwong.

The right moves: A night of sheer magic can be had when the Bangarra Dance Theatre performs at the Sydney Opera House.

Picture perfect: A Sunday afternoon is very well spent at The Art Gallery of NSW, followed by coffee and cake.

View with a hue: Sunsets at Bondi Beach are second to none.

Well spent: I like to follow up a shop at David Jones in Sydney’s Elizabeth Street with lunch in its excellent Food Hall on Market Street.

Centre of excellence: I love getting involved in celebrations at the National Centre for Indigenous Excellence and seeing the smiling and happy faces of the generation ready to do great things.

Time to gather: The Elders Lunch Redfern Community Centre, The Block Redfern, is a great opportunity to catch up with friends and elders.
