Centennial Parklands Equestrian Centre

A 15-minute drive from Sydney’s city centre, Centennial Parklands is a stunning location to explore on horseback with heritage buildings, water features, formal gardens and grand avenues. The Centennial Parklands Equestrian Centre is home to five riding schools that offer private and group lessons catering to different skill levels. The centre also holds pony camps for children during school holidays.

Glenworth Valley Outdoor Adventures

Located just over an hour’s drive away from Sydney, Glenworth Valley is a popular horse riding and outdoor adventure centre surrounded by luscious natural surroundings in the hinterland region of the Central CoastGlenworth Valley Outdoor Adventures’ horse riding tours offer a large selection of horses to pair with riders of wide-ranging abilities. Sydney International Equestrian Centre

The Sydney International Equestrian Centre is located at Horsley Park in Sydney’s west and offers world-class facilities including a cross country course and a steeplechase track, as well as stables and accommodation blocks. Learn a new skill such as dressage or jumping, and check out the numerous equestrian events throughout the year.

Blue Mountains

A two-hour drive from Sydney, the Blue Mountains offers great horse riding locations in tranquil country surroundings. Golden Ridge Animal Farm

Golden Ridge Animal Farm is a 40-minute drive out of Sydney and is a great location for children to get comfortable on a saddle. The farm offers pony rides around a designated track, as well as a range of agricultural experiences such as feeding animals and milking cows. Enjoy the farm’s natural surroundings and pack a picnic for a great family day out.
