My name is Beau and I’m a 30-year old photographer from the South of Sydney. I’ve been taking photos for just over two years now and am self-taught.
I first picked up the camera to help a friend out with their fashion blog, shooting street portraits. While I enjoyed shooting that, it wasn’t long till I realised where my passion truly lies. I’ve always had a fascination for big cities. Once I started to look at Sydney through my camera, I set out to try and showcase Sydney to make people ‘see Sydney differently’. From then I have stayed true to my style and motto. I now feel that people can recognise my shots from my unique perspectives or moody style edits.
One of my favourite ways to shoot Sydney would definitely have to be from the sky in a helicopter. Sydney is quite a flat city without many high vantage spots, so flying above and catching our icons from a different angle is such a cool and exciting thing to do.
