My name is Matty Hopkins. I’m an amateur photographer from south west Sydney with a huge passion for landscape and tourism style photography.
My favourite places to shoot tend to be seascapes and Sydney’s spectacular skyline, but you will also find me exploring in the mountains or finding stunning waterfalls.
I started photography at the beginning of 2016 and ever since I picked up a camera my passion has grown. When starting this hobby I had no idea where it would take me, over the short period of time I have been lucky enough to do some work with some great people and companies and even had the opportunity to have one of my shots featured on the front cover of Australian photography magazine.
Photography now has almost become an attachment to me, any opportunity or free time I get, you will most likely find me out shooting NSW’s spectacular landscapes. I look forward to the day when I can take my photography to a professional level.
I really hope you enjoy my profile of images shot around the Sydney area, and that they inspire you to get out and explore this spectacular city yourself.
Please find me and work on my socials, don’t forget to say hi!
