My name is Attakorn Petcharat or Brook. I came from Thailand five years ago to study in Sydney. Here I found that I have a passion for photography. I enjoy taking landscape, cityscape and seascape scenes. I feel very lucky to be in Sydney which gives me lots of opportunities to photograph what I enjoy.
I have been a serious photographer for two years. Before I joined a Thai photography group, I used to think Sydney only had two landmarks (Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge), I now know there is so much more! After spending time traveling around Sydney, I felt the need to photograph the beauty and diversity this city offers and share these images with friends and family around the world.
Sydney has many beautiful places that people are unaware of. One of my favourite places to shoot is sunrise at Waverton in Sydney’s North. I think this place displays so much of Sydney’s character, you can see the main landmarks in Sydney and the rest of the city alive with people moving on different forms of transportation.
I am constantly on the lookout for a new location and perspective to share with the world how beautiful Sydney is. I feel very lucky to be in such a wonderful city and to be able to share the magic of living here through images.
