Hi I’m Dom.
My friends and family shortened my name to “Dom” and my surname is directly translated to the number forty in Italian; Dom Forty (Domenic Quaranta) derived from the most cohesive version of myself.
Through my name, my story begins. Most people are able to decipher their stories through words, I can only tell this one through photographs… I am essentially a graphic designer, but when 9-5pm finishes I am able to explore the true essence that Sydney offers.
Through everything I have studied inside four walls coupled with everything I have taught myself – the art of photography has been my calling. I am constantly open for new experiences and adventures. My camera has allowed me to bring my visions to life, be it through every early sunrise to midnight.
My weekends include, pausing time on coastal walks, bushwalking through thick forest, camping out over terrains and ending Sunday nights with upbeat tunes as I edit every last occasion. I’ve spent the latter half of my years travelling for new insights. Some of my favourite locations though are from where my childhood stems: Bondi, Bronte, Coogee, and Watsons Bay to name a few. My life is an open-minded journey led by my passion to capture the world around me. I’m currently and will always enjoy the ride.
