This will be the Commonwealth Bank Ashes Pink Test, where Australia and England battle it out on the grass for the honour of this coveted trophy.
Michael Clarke and Brad Haddin are heading up the test squad again in the match they hope will continue their dominance over the English team.
The Boxing Day test in Melbourne saw the Aussies come out on top with some impressive bowling and a few late wickets. At stumps, England showed 6 for 226 with Kevin Peitersen sitting on 67 alongside Tim Bresnan, with one not out.
England’s captain, Alistair Cook will be fighting come January 3 in an attempt to win back some of the glory lost throughout the series and take the urn.
All of the action is guaranteed to draw some mega crowds, in fact, the Boxing Day test saw record-breaking crowds turn up to the match – 91,092 people watched the game live.
One of the best parts of this section will see Toyota Family Day (the third day of every Commonwealth Bank Ashes Test match) allow children in for free. This means you can take two kids under the age of 15 in for free, provided you enter will two full-paying adults. This is a great way to spend some time with the family out in the sunshine enjoying one of Australia’s favourite past times!
Be sure to book your Sydney accommodation alongside your test match tickets so you have all the important parts sorted before you arrive.
