With an early passion for surfing and the ocean, Mark spent his formative years surfing Sydney’s Northern Beaches. In his early 20s Mark travelled extensively as a surfer and started doing early photography work in his travels through Indonesia. It was a hobby which was soon to evolve into an obsession ranging from whale and wildlife photography to photographing people, events and places.
Mark has won numerous awards for his landscape, whale and underwater photography. His photos have been featured in travel magazines and books. His recent published works include the inside cover spread for the book “Saltwater People of the Fatal Shore: Sydney’s Southern Beaches” (by John Ogden) and the front cover of the Wentworth Courier for his iconic shot of a whale breaching in front of the Sydney skyline. His work has featured in lifestyle magazines and promotional material worldwide. His breathtaking wedding photography has also been featured in marketing material for Sydney and Australia tourism.
Mark’s intense dedication to developing and perfecting his photography techniques combined with his unique vision for capturing iconic moments drive his passion for photography in all areas. Mark still lives in Sydney and works as a freelance photographer.

A Wedding with a view. A very special day for the couple which included a ride in a Ferrari and a scenic seaplane flight over Sydney. It was an honour to be part of their day, a joy to photograph and definitely a day to remember. Image Credit: Mark Seabury Photography
