“Being fortunate enough to grow up in the heart of the British countryside, from a very young age, I subconsciously developed a passion for nature and the way in which the appearance of a single environment could be changed in colour and light by the seasons.
Coming from an artistic family, I would spend my every free moment with my pad and pencils, attempting to recreate the natural visions of beauty that surrounded me. It was when I purchased my first camera however, that I discovered the ability to capture all the colours and motions of my visions at the push of a button. It was from that moment onwards that my art took second place, and to this day, my photography has been my one true passion.
Only someone with this true passion will understand the feeling of looking at life as if through a viewfinder, stopping and doing takes and imagining the sights in front as if in the frame of a photograph.
It fascinates me to think of what is going on inside someone’s head as they observe their surroundings, and imagine how they feel about and perceive what they see. My photography shows people the exact way in which I see things, the visions that excite me and the way in which I try to capture the beauty I see through the viewfinder of my life.”
