Home of the world-famous Sydney Cricket Ground, Moore Park is 115 hectares of major sports stadiums, entertainment venues and open green spaces. Near the city centre, the park is part of the beautiful – Moore, Centennial and Queens parks, with more than 15,000 trees.
Opened in 1869, Moore Park is a fun day out. You’ll find many things to do and see, from great sports to the Entertainment Quarter with cinemas, restaurants, markets, comedy, music and the Fox Studios. Enjoy horseriding, cycling and golf. There are tennis, basketball and netball courts, too.
Check out the exciting events calendar for top Australian and international sports at the SCG and neighbouring Allianz Stadium, including Test, One Day and Big Bash cricket in the warmer months. Rugby league, soccer and Aussie Rules Football team the Sydney Swans play in the cooler months.
The behind-the-scenes SCG Tour Experience is a 90-minute guided walking tour of the historic ground, dressing rooms and SCG Museum, which houses Don Bradman’s 1946 bat and his Baggy Green cap. In the are priceless memorabilia and tributes to great players.

Next to Moore Park is pretty Centennial Park, with ponds and gardens. Admire colourful native flora and fauna on a picnic in the manicured grounds. You can explore this splendid environment cycling on dedicated bike paths. Bicycle hire is available from Centennial Park Cycles seven days a week.
