Whether you are crazy about cars or you are simply keen to get out and enjoy the adrenaline-pumping spectacular of Sydney’s ultimate motoring event, you won’t want to miss the Top Gear Festival.
Taking place at Sydney Motorsport Park over the weekend of March 9 and 10, you’ll have the opportunity to see all your favourite presenters from the hit UK show Top Gear – including Jeremy Clarkson, James May and The Stig.
You will also have the opportunity to check out never-before seen stunts, and you can even get up close and personal with vehicles you might never ordinarily get to see in real life. The Tuff Truck Challenge, for example, will be showcasing some of the world’s most extreme off-road vehicles, and you won’t want to miss the top racers from Australia, New Zealand and the UK/Ireland competing in the Tri-Nations Cup for the title of “Actually the Best Country in the World”.
Visitors to the festival will also get the chance to check out some Top Gear favourite features – with an Aussie twist! The MyPlates Star in a Reasonably Priced Car challenge will see willing Australian celebs – including Kyle Sandilands, Bondi Rescue’s Trent Maxwell and Troy Quinlan, Channel 9’s Emma Freedman and Socceroo Brett Emerton – get behind the wheel of a Lexus CT200h, and of course, there will be a packed exhibition hall with displays for everything car-related.
If you are planning to head down to the Top Gear Festival Sydney, it’s well worth purchasing your tickets in advance from Ticketek so you can enjoy a great motoring day out without queueing at the venue. With the Top Gear Festival taking place for one weekend only, you won’t want to miss a second of the excitement!
