Join the party as Shark Island is transformed into an island of Caribbean delights. Surry Hills favourites Butter will be bringing the fried chicken and champagne, while Glebe’s Thievery will be serving up some exotic food of their own. A live performance from LUEN will also add to the island vibes before the fireworks show later in the evening.

Clark Island Garden Party

Don’t miss out on an unforgettable New Year’s Eve on Clark Island. Clark Island forms part of the Sydney Harbour National Park and is famed for its panoramic views of Sydney Harbour. Tickets to the Clark Island Garden Party will get you a gourmet picnic hamper on arrival to the island, as well as a 3-course meal featuring some of the freshest garden treats. Party band The Shuffle will be performing as the sun goes down and a live DJ will take control of the party after the spectacular fireworks display.

 

Athol Lawn, Bradleys Head, Mosman

There are also some fantastic spots to watch the fireworks by the side of the Harbour. Kick back and watch the fireworks with the family at Athol Lawn. The vast amount of space below Athol Hall at Bradleys Head will allow for a relaxing New Year’s Eve celebration with prime views of the waterfront. Take advantage of this great spot by bringing along a picnic and watching the sun go down before the sky lights up. The park will open at 3pm and close shortly after the midnight fireworks display.

Start your 2017 right in the heart of the Mast Precinct, the party area of Bradleys Head. As well as stunning views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House, there will be live entertainment suitable for all ages as well as live music leading up to the midnight fireworks display. A range of food and drink will be available during the festivities, including pizza, Brazilian barbecue and ice cream for dessert. Tea, coffee and soft drinks will also be on offer.
