Overview
Elliott's, named after the street it calls home, is situated in the heart of Balmain. Elliott's takes up residence on the iconic corner once home to Casa Esquina, offering a modern Australian bistro experience with refined French and Italian influences. The reimagined neighbourhood hangout will blend great food, wine, creative cocktails and dynamic live music in a laid-back, lively setting.
At Elliott's, the venue has undergone a complete transformation, including new interiors and revamped courtyard with custom-built, partially retractable roof for year-round dining and entertainment. The transformation isn't just cosmetic – it's in direct response to the Inner West's newly loosened live music laws, unlocking the potential for Elliott's to evolve from restaurant into a hybrid social, dining and entertainment hub.
Elliott's live entertainment program officially kicks off in September, but surprise acts and soft launch performances will roll out from opening day. Guests can expect nostalgic cuts from vinyl DJs every weekend (Fri–Sun) from lunch 'til late, plus showcase live acts every Saturday.
Leading the kitchen is Head Chef John Frid with a menu that celebrates seasonal produce and timeless European technique – all designed to pair with good wine, great company, and the kind of courtyard soundtrack that keeps the vibes rolling from lunch 'til late.
