Learn the delicate art of making your own choux pasty from resident Pastry Chef Mayumi Nagata. At this fun, hands on cooking class you will make your own eclairs in four wonderful flavours:
Vanilla pastry cream decorate with vanilla fondant
Raspberry cream decorated with raspberry fondant with freeze dried raspberry and white chocolate
Paris Brest (Praline mousse creme): home made almond pastry cream with feuilletine with chocolate.
Chocolate pastry cream decorate with chocolate fondant with cacao nib.
At the end of this dessert cooking class you will take home a box of your beautiful creations.
Specialising in French pastry with an essence of her Japanese origin, Pastry Chef Mayumi create pastries and desserts with love and truly enjoys sharing her passion with people. Mayumi is well travelled and has lived in several countries to train her palate and skills, working in Japan, France and Singapore with many passionate chefs. She was inspired by Olivier Bajard, a world pastry champion in France and worked with Oliver at his pastry school Ecole International de patisserie Olivier Bajard.
