Taphouse Darlinghurst, revived by Applejack Hospitality in September 2023, honours the cherished history of the Sydney institution while infusing it with new vitality. Rooted in community tradition yet innovatively distinct, it beats with a triad of elements: Taps boasting epic ales, Tunes vibing with beats and DJs, and Chinese cuisine delivering Cantonese delights.

Crafted by Head Chef Sam Ng and Applejack Culinary Director Patrick Friesen, the Cantonese menu pays homage to Hong Kong flavours fused with Australian Chinese cuisine. The beverage selection, curated by Sommelier Amandine Rouviere and Bar Manager Matt Johnson, features over 20 rotating taps showcasing Sydney's top breweries alongside a simple yet delightful array of wines and cocktails.

Retaining its classic charm with timber paneling and pressed tin ceilings, Taphouse now exudes warmth through terracotta tones and dark timber furnishings. The rooftop terrace, transformed with fresh white and blues, offers a summery urban escape with retractable roofs and whitewashed furniture.

Across three levels, patrons can enjoy the menu's delights while immersing themselves in live sports, whether in the Public Bar, Level 1, or basking in sunshine atop the Rooftop. With customisable event options, Taphouse is the ultimate venue for celebrations.
