Governor Phillip Park is a lovely large spacious park in historic Windsor on the banks of the Hawkesbury River. It offers covered picnic areas, toilets, and electric barbecues. The park has a children’s playground so it is the perfect spot for a barbecue or a picnic with family and friends. In the summertime, you will be able to enjoy the kid's water park. There is plenty of open space for families to enjoy. November is a pretty time of the year with the flowering Jacaranda trees a perfect time to take a photo.

At the end of the park, there is a large public boat ramp where you can launch boats, canoes, and kayaks. Take the opportunity to take advantage of the facilities and enjoy many types of water sports on the river. The boat ramp has large parking facilities for both cars and trailers. Keep your eye out for some of the great events that are held in this park.

History buffs can look out for the Pioneers Settlers Monument memorial located in the park.
