Birkenhead Point Brand Outlet 

Where: Drummoyne 

Perched on the waterfront beneath the Irom Cove Bridge in the Inner Harbour, Birkenhead Point is the city’s most picturesque outlet mall. Inside, find more than 120 stores from big name brands including Country Road, Cue, Bonds, Levi’s, Lorna Jane, Seed, Peter Alexander, Stylerunner, RM Williams and Witchery. You can also save big on luxury labels like Polo Ralph Lauren, Oroton, Guess, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein and Armani, plus a huge range of athletic gear. 

Getting there 
Birkenhead Point is a 15-minute drive from central Sydney with plenty of parking. Or catch a bus over the Anzac Bridge and along Victoria Rd. Numerous routes leave from Stand L at Town Hall station and take around 20 minutes. 

DFO Homebush 

Where: Sydney Olympic Park 

You’ll find a bit of everything at DFO Homebush, Sydney’s original outlet shopping centre. There’s designer fashion, high street brands, jewellery, sportswear, electronics, homewares and furniture. With more than 100 different stores across multiple categories, you could spend the whole day browsing the enormous DFO mall. And with prices up to 70% off, it’s one of Sydney’s best places for a bargain. 

Getting there 
It’s just a 20-minute drive from the centre of Sydney to DFO Homebush. Catch a train to Strathfield Station then transfer to the bus, which takes just over half an hour.

Fashion Spree Outlet Centre 

Where: Liverpool 

There are more than 60 outlet stores inside Liverpool’s Fashion Spree, including designer brands, sportswear, shoes, underwear and homewares. You can pick up some new sneakers at Nike, find the perfect party dress at Portmans, grab the matching handbag at Oroton, then snuggle up for the night in your Peter Alexander pyjamas. The centre opened 14 new stores during a major expansion in late 2025 and also added Vitaland, a café and soft play centre that will keep the whole family entertained. 

Getting there 
Liverpool is a 45-minute drive from central Sydney and Fashion Spree has free all day parking.

Market City 

Where: Chinatown 

Located on top of Chinatown’s Paddy’s Markets (a bargain hunter’s shopping destination in its own right), Market City offers the only outlet shopping in the centre of the city. The outlet stores are on level two, with affordable brands Bonds, Cotton On, Adidas, Supre and Connor, and footwear from Converse, Fila, Platypus, Sketchers, Ugg and Foot Locker. Don’t miss TK Maxx, a discount department store stocking a huge range of brands at rock bottom prices. Afterwards, refuel at the new Hay St Market precinct inside Paddy’s Market, where almost 50 boutique food stalls and bars await. 

Getting there  
Public transport is the best way to reach Market City. It's an easy walk along George Street from the Sydney CBD or Central and Town Hall stations. There’s also a light rail stop right outside.

Botany Road and McEvoy Street 

Where: Alexandria 

In inner-city suburb of Alexandria is home to an array of factory outlets and discount warehouses. It takes some time to discover them along Botany Road and McEvoy, O’Riordan and Bourke Streets, but that's part of the adventure. Start at European Fashion & Footwear Outlet (EFFO) for heavily discounted international labels. Then go in search of brands like Seafolly, lululemon, Assembly Label, MJ Bale and Nude Lucy. Find cut-price kitchenware at Victoria’s Basement and Peter’s of Kensington (only open on the weekend), and discounted pieces from luxe furniture label MCM House at The Shed.  

Getting there  
There is generally plenty of parking around Alexandria. For public transport, it's just a few minutes’ walk from Green Square Station to McEvoy Street. 

Rosebery Engine Yards 

Where: Rosebery 

A series of heritage warehouses and factories in Rosebery have been transformed into a chic shopping destination. Rosebery Engine Yards is home to outlets from some of Australia’s biggest brands, like Zimmerman, Aje, Scanlan Theodore, Bassike, Rebecca Valance, and Camilla and Marc. There are also independent furniture stores, cosmetics and the Instagram-famous Lune Croissanterie, perfect for that post-shopping sugar hit. 

Getting there 
Rosebery Engine Yards is a 15-minute drive from central Sydney and there’s plenty of parking both in the centre and the surrounding streets. You can also catch a bus from the city or the train to Green Square Station and walk.
