Discover the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney on this immersive walk and private tour with Trip Slow.

At Shelley Beach headland, stop for an Acknowledgement of Country, paying respects to the Traditional Custodians of the area. Proceed North into North Head Reserve (known as Car-rang-gel by the local Gayemagal people). Along the walk, pass many beautiful sights across the ocean, ancient rock formations and unique flora and fauna. Often stopping to look for some wildlife along the way. During the walk, you will occasionally take a minute or 2 to walk in silence and just taking in all of the sights and sounds.

Head next to Fairfax Lookout to look into the Harbour and see a spectacular view of Sydney City, here I will talk about the history of the area and Aboriginal Culture. Passing through The Barracks and North Fort exploring the reason for the construction and its use during WWII, then beginning the descent back down through Manly along the coastal track past the marine-protected Cabbage Tree Bay towards Shelley Beach.

Gourmet picnic to follow overlooking the harbour.
