Sydney OutBack

Explore beautiful waterways, enchanting eucalypt forests, and Aboriginal rock art and engravings with Sydney OutBack, a local tourism group offering memorable experiences in Sydney’s north. You’ll encounter native wildlife and learn more about the world’s oldest continuous culture.

The Wilderness and Aboriginal Explorer Tour and Cruise is a full-day guided tour travelling by bus, boat and on foot through Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, Australia’s second-oldest national park in Sydney’s north.  You’ll see Aboriginal rock engravings and art, including ochre stencils.

At West Head Lookout, enjoy breathtaking views, a scenic discovery cruise and Indigenous interpretation of several Aboriginal rock art sites, some only accessible by water. Your tour includes a gourmet bush tucker lunch. Return transfers to the city centre are provided too.

Sydney OutBack also offers a Northern Beaches charter tour. The Northern Beaches of Sydney are home to some of Australia’s best surfing beaches and spectacular lookouts. You’ll meet locals, gain insights into beach culture and surf lifesaving, and take a guided walk from Palm Beach to Barrenjoey Head and the lighthouse, built in 1881.
