They explore the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, located just 45 minutes north of central Sydney offering nature, Aboriginal and aquatic based experiences in one of Australia’s most picturesque and diverse landscapes.
Their first stop is the world-class lookout at West Head where your clients can take in incredible views of the Tasman Sea, Pittwater and the historic sandstone lighthouse on Barrenjoey Headland. Gazing across Broken Bay, see the beaches of the Central Coast and Lion Island.
Their second stop of the day is one of Sydney’s most significant Aboriginal rock art sites with 15 images etched into the ground depicting the story of the creation of the earth. The Park is home to the world’s most concentrated area of Indigenous sites with over 1,500 sites, and this one of the most impressive of the collection.
Their third stop is Akuna Bay marina where they begin a 2.5 hour scenic cruise through pristine National Park waterways, admiring the Aussie bush and imagine what Sydney Harbour looked like prior to the arrival of the Europeans in 1788. During the cruise, your clients will enjoy interpretation at several ancient Aboriginal sites that are only accessible by water.
