Creepy Stories at Old Government House

Overview
Young ghostbusters-in-training are invited to embark on a special, family-friendly twilight tour of the ground floor of Old Government House, a 222-year-old former country residence of early Governors, renowned for its rich history and the occasional unexplained occurrence.
This unique experience offers children and their families the chance to explore the dimly lit halls of this historic home, illuminated by the soft glow of faux candlelight, while listening to age-appropriate tales and amusing anecdotes about eerie incidents and mysterious sightings that have been reported over the years.
Led by an expert guide, the tour includes a demonstration of "ghost meters"—devices used to detect paranormal activity—before guests are taken on a gentle exploration of the house, learning about its heritage in a way that is both educational and delightfully spooky.
To enhance the atmosphere and add a playful twist, children are encouraged to arrive in their scariest costumes, making the evening not only a journey into the past but also a fun and imaginative adventure for the whole family.
