James Morrison is a virtuoso in the true sense of the word. For this special concert he brings his Quartet to the Town Tent for a night of swinging jazz.

Playing with this ensemble is James' favourite way to perform. The quartet is comprised of his two sons William and Harry Morrison plus drummer Patrick Danao.

James has played all of the world's finest jazz venues, including Birdland, The Blue Note, Village Vanguard in New York, the New Morning in Paris, the Tokyo Blue Note and Ronnie Scott's in London. He has shared the stage with jazz legends Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Hancock, Dave Brubeck, Chick Corea, George Benson, Quincy Jones, Ray Charles and B.B. King. A member of The Order of Australia, he has recorded with The London Symphony Orchestra, rock legends INXS and the European Brass Ensemble, performed at the Royal Albert Hall for the BBC Proms, played for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and for three US Presidents.
