Balmoral Swim
Overview
The 35th annual Balmoral Swim will kick off with hundreds of swimmers diving into the ocean in support of childhood cancer research.
A much-loved fixture on the Lower North Shore calendar, the Balmoral Swim is a completely volunteer-run swimming festival held at the iconic Balmoral Beach, Mosman.
For the third year in a row, the Balmoral Swim will offer wheelchair access, with the Balmoral Beach Club also supplying a beach wheelchair to ensure more convenient access for swimmers with disabilities.
The Balmoral Swim has been running for 35 years, with 19 of those years dedicated to supporting Children's Cancer Institute. All funds raised go directly towards the Institute's research to improve survival rates and quality of life for children with cancer.
The Balmoral Swim is made possible thanks to the generous support of its sponsors:
Platinum – TCAP, Ten Corp
Gold – Minsky, Supamart
Bronze – Edney Ryan Group, Expedite IT, Hunter Bay Resources, Kieser, MTA Energy, Raine & Horne Mosman
The event is also proudly supported by the Balmoral Beach Club, Mosman Council, HMAS Penguin, and Marine Rescue NSW.
