Paula Jenkins: Lifeblood

Tuesday 14 May 2019 to Monday 27 May 2019

Art2Muse Gallery presents Lifeblood by Paula Jenkins.

Lifeblood is inspired by her local landscapes around Walcha in the Nothern Tablelands of NSW. Her paintings are particularly influenced by the current unrelenting drought which continues to affect so many primary producers in the area, and as such she had a desire to focus on the lifeblook of the land - water. Water gives life, strength and vitality to their environment and all living creatures. Without water nothing survives.

Many of the paintings in Paula's exhibition Lifeblood will include meandering rivers, lakes, gorges and rain-filled clouds, along with the picturesque undulating landscapes that are distinct to the area.
