Pop on the Rocks
Pop on the Rocks is an art gallery based in the heart of The Rocks, having Nessy as its unique artist.
Artist Chiat Kwan Lau (Nessy) started his art journey in his home country of Singapore. With a passion for graphic art, Ness moved to Australia to continue his education in Graphic Arts at a school in the heart of The Rocks district of Sydney. It was here he developed various different styles of pop and bold graphic work.
In 2012 NessyART was created in conjunction with his partner Scott Succow. Using Ness’s designs, the pair started selling canvases, prints and merchandise at markets around Sydney.
With the large portfolio of Pop Art previously created for NessyART, Scott has continued the journey opening the POP on the Rocks gallery steps away from where Ness studied Graphic Arts.
Through the gallery, both Ness and Scott wish to brighten lives through Pop Art.
Pop on the Rocks is easily accessible by train, bus and ferry from Circular Quay. There is also parking available nearby.
