Tune out of the noise and recharge with State Library Unplugged. Following its popular debut at Vivid Sydney last year, this relaxing night of books, crafts, games, talks, acoustic music, vinyl DJs and soundscapes celebrates libraries as a hub of discovery, creativity and community.

Libraries have long been sanctuaries of reflection, where people of all ages can find themselves in quiet company, surrounded by books. In our hurried world of digital distractions, the unplugged movement calls us back to this timeless experience.

Throughout the night, delve into our free exhibitions and share the joy of discovery in the Library's magical spaces. Come by yourself, with your family or friends, and reconnect with yourself, others and the physical world. With so many places to read, create, write, engage, think, play and relax in gorgeous surrounds, State Library Unplugged is a night unlike any other.
