Science Workshop: Earth, Sun and Moon

Tuesday 09 July 2019 to Thursday 11 July 2019 (DAILY event)

One small step for a man, one giant leap for children at the Australian Museum who will discover how the solar system works in this hands-on workshop!

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing and first moon walk, the Australian Museum is hosting workshops all about space this July.

Children will investigate how the Earth, moon and sun work in the solar system, how the Earth’s tilt affects the seasons, and the difference between a star, a planet and a moon!

Go space-crazy in this hands-on afternoon of out-of-this-world experiments and demonstrations.

Best for kids aged: eight - twelve years

Presented by Fizzics Education.
