Bourke Street Bakery first opened its doors in the bustling Sydney suburb of Surry Hills in 2004, and quickly gained legendary status for its rustic bread, gourmet pies and mouth-watering sweets.
Now the bakery serves devoted fans in a dozen Sydney locations – Alexandria, Balmain, Banksmeadow, Barangaroo, Kirrawee, Marrickville, Neutral Bay, Newtown, North Sydney, Parramatta and Potts Point – as well as in New York City.
The team prides itself on making real food the old-fashioned way: from the best ingredients, by hand with dedication and love. For those with a sweet tooth, try the pain au chocolat, pear danishes, muffins and cookies, or if you’d prefer something more savoury, choose from sausage rolls with delicious fillings such as lamb, almond and harissa, curry pies and quiches. Vegan and vegetarian options are available.
