The wait is over…Queer Formal® Sydney is back!
It feels like a lifetime since our last IRL Queer Formal®in Sydney – because it kind of has been a lifetime! For the first time since February 2020, we are bringing the sparkliest night of the year for LGBTQIA+ young people back to Sydney. Join them for a night of live performances, drag, new friends, special guests and endless queer youth joy.
What’s Queer Formal®?
Queer Formal®is a life-affirming, identity-celebrating night for LGBTQIA+ young people (aged 12 to 19 ONLY) to make friends, connect to community and dance the night away.
Wear what you want, bring the date you want, express yourself the way that YOU want and celebrate with other beautiful queer folk.
Youth workers will be on site. All gender and accessible bathrooms available.
This is an alcohol, drug, vape and smoke-free event.
Free, bookings essential.

Caters for people who are deaf or have hearing loss
Caters for people who use a wheelchair.
Caters for people with high support needs who travel with a support person
Caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (This includes people using walking frames and mobility aids)
