3x3x2 Festival of New Works
Wednesday 14 August 2019 to Saturday 24 August 2019 (DAILY event)
Three young, boundary-pushing artists will premiere their works as part of the 3x3x2 Festival of New Works at PACT Centre for Emerging Artists.
Writer and actor Emily Dash unveils Freefall, a candid and moving play that asks provocative questions about love and death, and explores the complexities of loving someone who sees the world differently to oneself.
Performance artist Christie Woodhouse asks important questions about how you need to prepare as citizens and as a society in Bring Your Devices In Case You Forget. The work explores fascination with prepping subcultures, skill sharing modulated by tech giants and community formation.
Dash, Woodhouse and Frost are part of PACT’s 3x3x2 comprehensive two-year residency for early-career performance artists. The residency program offers artists space, mentorship, a salary and freedom to test an idea driven investigation.
