Tyrannosaurs – Meet the Family
Monday 01 March 2021 to Sunday 14 March 2021 (DAILY event)
Travel back 66 million years in this unique interactive exhibition that introduces you to the whole Tyrannosaur family.
This summer the world’s most feared dinosaur, Tyrannosaurus rex, comes crashing out the Cretaceous and into the new blockbuster exhibition space at the Australian Museum. But watch out, the 13-metre-long, saw-toothed predator isn’t coming along – the whole Tyrannosaur clan will be roaring to meet you.
With a colossal collection of tyrannosaur skeletons, skulls, fossil eggs and even coprolites (ahem... fossilised dinosaur dung – the key to understanding dinosaurs’ diets) on display, there is so much for the whole family to discover. Come face-to-face with a life-sized T. rex, run for your life in a virtual experience, you can even hatch a dino egg in this interactive exhibition.
