In less than 90 minutes from Sydney, you can be walking in the World Heritage area of the Blue Mountains. Walkers have been hiking this natural wilderness wonderland since the 1800s, well before walking became popular. There’s a good reason for this, as the walking is second to none. 100 kilometres of tracks were constructed more than a hundred years ago, some of them meticulously sculptured into the escarpment wall. The Six Foot track is one of the most famous.

The walk starts in Blackheath and finishes in Leura, via Katoomba. Astonishing panoramic views that stretch out well beyond the horizon are par for the course. Walk waterfalls, canyons, and towering forests and breathe in the region's unique blue vista (the eucalypt oil mist), while staying in excellent accommodation and devouring mostly a la carte two-course dinners and cooked breakfasts.

Does not cater for people with access needs.
