Golden Eagle Day
Saturday 31 October 2020
Sydney’s West hosts its pinnacle race, The Iron Jack Golden Eagle; a 1500 metre race for four-year-olds and Australia’s third richest race. There is AUD7.5 million in prize money to be won with AUD750,000 donated to the winning owners’ charities of choice. Many trainers believe that a horse peaks at four-years old. This one matters.
Off-the-track, pop-up bars, food trucks, fashions, frivolity, award-winning hospitality and live music create an unforgettable party atmosphere which complements a full day of competitive racing. Guests can also watch the action from Flemington’s Derby Day unfold on large screens around the racecourse.
