Established in 1868 and located in the heart of St Leonards, Gore Hill Memorial Cemetery is a historical and cultural landmark that offers a unique glimpse into Sydney's past. Spanning 5.81 hectares, the cemetery is one of the oldest cemeteries in metropolitan Sydney and was originally laid out as a formal Victorian/Edwardian garden.
