Each year more than 12,000 athletes compete in the prestigious race, which takes runners on a spectacular 21.1-kilometre course taking in the best of Sydney's iconic landscape, including views of the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, The Rocks and Pyrmont Peninsula.
The most impressive race of its kind in Australia, the Half Marathon attracts a mix of local, interstate and overseas runners, coming together to challenge themselves and achieve a personal best.
