It’s home to students, hipsters, a large LGBTQIA+ community, artisans, architects, designers, fashionistas, and generally a whole bunch of alternative-living advocates, so it’s little wonder Inner Sydney suburbs like Newtown, Glebe, Surry Hills, Darlinghurst and Chippendale are such bastions of cool.
