Friends enjoying food and drink at waterside restaurant LuMi Bar & Dining in Pyrmont, Sydney City
Pyrmont is a harbourside neighbourhood that's home to an eclectic mix of foodie delights, from acclaimed restaurants and classic pubs to charming cafes and natural wine bars. It helps that the area's colonial and maritime heritage means it's also a pretty spot to wander and take in the architecture.
The Sydney Fish Market is right on the water. Buy fresh seafood and savour it on picnic tables overlooking pretty Blackwattle Bay, dine at Fisherman's Wharf restaurant or learn how to cook it at Sydney Seafood School. There are also behind-the-scenes tours that operate on weekdays at 6.40am.
