Dining in Bondi

Icebergs Dining Room, Bondi Beach

Overlooking one of Australia’s most iconic beaches, the restaurants and cafes of Bondi serve up a fantastic mix of atmosphere to go with their contemporary local and international cuisine. Select from Bondi’s blend of casual cafes, family-friendly eateries and fine dining spots and savour the fresh produce and rich flavours being served up by the suburb’s many talented chefs.

Icebergs provides a definitively sleek hideout, overlooking the beach from the comfort of its famous bar, bistro and restaurant.  Sean's Panorma is also famous for its relaxed atmosphere, contemporary Australian and fantastic view, while BillsHurricane's Grill and Jed's Food Store are popular eateries offering great local dishes and beach-style vibes.

Take a world tour of international cuisine from Pompei's Italian to Middle Eastern dining at Sefa Kitchen, sushi and sake at Raw Bar, burritos from the Beach Burrito Company or Asian tapas from Mamasan. Alternatively, make the most of the Bondi beach backdrop with a waterside picnic or enjoy budget-friendly waterfront dining with the North Bondi RSL Blue Wave Bistro’s menu of Modern Australian fare.

Offering uninhibited views across Bondi Beach, the suburb’s selection of waterfront bars are ideal for having a drink by the scenic beach frontage. Ravesi's on Campbell Parade is a local institution with its relaxed cocktail and wine bar and restaurant. Both The Bucket List and Vue Bar and Tapas present impressive drinks lists in addition to prime positions along Bondi’s promenade and main road.

Bondi is also home to a wide range of atmospheric bars and eateries complete with their own different themes and unique character. Head to Bondi Hardware to enjoy a taste of industrial chic, The Rum Diaries for a modern colonial dining experience or The Anchor for a nautical-themed mix of tasty dishes and drinks.
