Bondi is home to Sydney’s most iconic beach, Bondi Beach. This gorgeous stretch in the city’s east is also the location for a range of awesome Sydney events, from surfing events to festivals to one of the biggest outdoor coastal sculpture exhibitions in the world, Sculpture by the Sea, held along the Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk from October to November.

Year-round, swimmers, surfers and sunbathers flock to Bondi, and throughout year, it’s the site of music festivals, comedy and drama performances, outdoor cinema and a short film festival. It’s easy to get to Bondi from the city; you can either catch the train to Bondi Junction Station and then get a bus to the beach, or take a bus down Oxford Street all the way to the beach.
