About Moore Park

Home to major sports stadiums, entertainment venues, a dining and shopping precinct, and large open green spaces, Moore Park has plenty of things to do and see. The park is 115 hectares and is part of the Centennial Parklands - Moore Park, Centennial Park and Queens Park.

Cricket legends hit it out at the Sydney Cricket Ground, affectionately known as the SCG, which doubles as a venue for Aussie Rules Football team the Sydney Swans in cooler months. Go behind the scenes and walk on the world-famous ground with the fascinating SCG Tour Experience

Neighbouring Allianz Stadium is a football fan's heaven, hosting major rugby union, rugby league and soccer games. Australian sporting history is on display at the Sydney Cricket Ground Museum – see Don Bradman's 1946 bat and his Baggy Green cap – and the Rugby League Museum

The Moore Park Golf Club is the closest public access golf course to the city and has stunning views of the Sydney skyline. The club features a 60-bay, all-weather driving range and is the home of the Sydney Golf Academy, a great venue for learning and improving your golf game.

For a great range of entertainment and places to eat, take the family to the Entertainment Quarter next to the Fox movie studios. You'll find restaurants, a children's play centre and plaster painting area, cinemas, performance venues, and the EQ Village Markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Next to Moore Park is Centennial Park, a green oasis of calm with its ponds and formal gardens. Enjoy the colourful native flora and fauna within the beautiful manicured grounds. Explore the splendid setting by cycling on dedicated bike paths. You can hire a bicycle from Centennial Park Cycles seven days a week.
