Refettorio OzHarvest Sydney

Refettorio OzHarvest Sydney is an Australian-first, social impact collaboration between OzHarvest and Massimo Bottura's Food for Soul. The Refettorio brings together those in need with a warm, nourishing meal in a unique, community hub setting in Surry Hills.

Based on OzHarvest's zero-waste philosophy, rescued ingredients are transformed into gourmet meals made with love. The lunch menu changes weekly, prepared by OzHarvest chefs and served by wonderful volunteers.

During the day service, anyone can come in for a free, three-course meal, no questions asked. They get over 300 customers dining here per week. Their customers say it's so much more than a meal; Refettorio OzHarvest nourishes bellies and hearts. It's about conversations, comfort, connections, and community.

Refettorio OzHarvest an entirely not-for-profit space, and to help keep our doors open, we host paid dining events called "Pay It Forward Dinners" on Wednesday andThursday evenings.
As a guest at a Pay It Forward Dinners, you will be treated to a delicious three-course vegetarian meal along with non-alcoholic drinks. Our talented chefs are masters at using sustainably and ethically sourced local produce to create zero-waste meals.

Every ticket you buy helps us to serve those who in need of a nourishing three-course meal during our daytime service.

Refettorio OzHarvest is also available for exclusive event hire, with fantastic event packages for private or corporate hire.
