Überblick
„Kochen für den guten Zweck“ ist OzHarvests praktischer Kochkurs, der in einer professionellen Küche im Lager der Wohltätigkeitsorganisation in Alexandria stattfindet. Unter Anleitung eines OzHarvest-Kochs kochen Sie gemeinsam mit Gleichgesinnten und verwandeln gerettete Zutaten, die sonst im Müll gelandet wären, in etwas Wertvolles.
Kocherfahrung ist nicht erforderlich, nur Lust aufs Lernen. Freuen Sie sich auf neue Techniken und clevere Tricks zur Abfallvermeidung und natürlich auf eine Kostprobe Ihrer Kreationen. Anschließend helfen Sie beim Einpacken, denn alles Gekochte wird bereits am nächsten Tag an bedürftige Menschen verteilt, sodass die Wirkung weit über den Kurs hinausreicht.
Jeder Kurs unterstützt außerdem OzHarvests Mission, Lebensmittel zu retten und bedürftige Menschen zu versorgen. Kommen Sie allein und lernen Sie neue Leute kennen oder bringen Sie Ihre Freunde mit – in jedem Fall nehmen Sie neue Fähigkeiten mit und wissen, dass Sie jemandem geholfen haben.
