An initiative of the Bermagui Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism, Bermagui Heritage Trail is a self-guided walk/drive trail that extends over 17 kilometres from Wallaga Lake north of Bermagui to Cuttagee Beach to the south. It highlights 12 people and places of historical significance in the Bermagui area - Michael Lerner Lookout, Cuttagee Timber Mill, The Blue Pool, Zane Grey, Bermagui Steamer Wharf, Sam Sinclair, Bruce Steer Pool, the old Government Wharf, Bermagui Fishermen's Co-Operative, the old race course and air strip, Tilba Road and Payne's Island.

An extension of the trail with an additional 10 sites is planned to be complete in 2024.
