Richard Stanley is a professional artist living in Cygnet, Tasmania. He has a great love for landscapes, especially the subtle tones and colours in the sky and water, particularly during the early morning and late afternoon when the shadows are longer and the sky is more colourful. Richard studied at the Claremont School of Art, for a Diploma majoring in Painting and Drawing. He has exhibited in many exhibitions and art awards, winning two Major Awards, nine People's Choice Awards and three Mayor's Choice Awards over the years, including several acquisitional awards.
