Metro Below is a two-hour guided tour exploring the architecture, public art and engineering of Sydney Metro. Led by OnlyHere Tours, the journey starts at Waterloo Metro Station and finishes at Victoria Cross in North Sydney.

Visitors take a closer look at station design, materials and artworks, and hear how tunnels and stations were constructed beneath a busy city. Commentary explores passenger movement, driverless trains and the decisions behind the network's distinctive public spaces.

The tour operates almost entirely undercover or underground. Participants need comfortable shoes and a valid Opal card or other accepted payment method for Metro travel. Fares are additional to the tour ticket.

This independent experience takes place entirely in publicly accessible passenger areas. It does not include restricted or behind-the-scenes access and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Sydney Metro or Transport for NSW. Advance booking is required.
