Artspace Editions: Daniel Boyd
Overview
The inaugural Artspace Editions are by acclaimed Kudjala, Ghungalu, Wangerriburra, Wakka Wakka, Gubbi Gubbi, Kuku Yalanji, Bundjalung, Yuggera and ni-Vanuatu artist Daniel Boyd. One of Australia's most highly regarded contemporary artists, Boyd's work is held in major international collections including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, where his work is currently on view.
For Artspace Editions, Boyd reinterprets imagery from The Australian Children's Pictorial Social Studies across three limited-edition works: a woodcut print, silkscreen T-shirt and colouring book. Together, the works question how colonial narratives are represented, taught and understood as history.
Strictly limited quantities are available. Be among the first members of the public to purchase an Edition on the night before they sell out.
