Hook's Neverland
Overview
A circus of the imagination
Welcome to Hook's Neverland, a spectacular world-premiere adventure where exhilarating circus, breathtaking aerials, astonishing magic and outrageous comedy collide.
This summer, the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall transforms into Neverland – but not quite as you remember it. Peter Pan has grown up, and Captain James Hook finally has the stage to himself, determined to rewrite history and tell his side of the story.
Joined by his right-hand man Smee, a maverick Tinkerbell and a travelling carnival of extraordinary performers, Hook leads audiences through a punk-fuelled Fairyland, the Lost Boys' Hideout, Mermaid Lagoon, Skull Rock and the Jolly Roger – all while trying to evade the relentless crocodile.
Created by Craig Ilott and Stuart Couzens (GATSBY at The Green Light, L'Hôtel) and directed by Neil Dorward (Circus 1903, The Illusionists), Hook's Neverland features an outstanding international cast of acrobats, aerialists and illusionists.
Packed with circus, illusions, humour and mischief, this dazzling new live show invites audiences to question the fairytale – and the so-called villain they thought they knew.
Sydney Opera House and Caper & Crow present Hook's Neverland.
