Sydney Harbour Bridge to South Head and Clovelly Walk

This 30-km harbour and coastal walk follows the shoreline of Sydney Harbour before turning southwards along ocean beaches and cliffs. It's just part of one of the great urban coast walks of the world, connecting Broken Bay in Sydney's north  to Port Hacking to its south, traversing the rugged headlands and sweeping  beaches, bush, lagoons, bays, and harbours of coastal Sydney.

The  main route covers the southern shores of Sydney Harbour passing through many scenic  spots, harbourside parks and historic sites. At Watsons Bay, the walk meets the  dramatic entrance to Sydney Harbour known as South Head. It then swings south  past 80 m ocean cliffs before dropping down to Bondi Beach and a succession of  eastern beaches to Clovelly. Sites of interest along the way include Bondi Beach Pavilion, Bronte House, Elizabeth Bay House, Macquarie Lighthouse, Vaucluse House and Waverley Cemetery.

One of the best ways to see the sights is to break the walk up into smaller loop trails and use public transport to get from A to B.
