Sydney Writers' Festival
Overview
Sydney Writers' Festival brings together a broad and engaged community around the sharing of books, writing and ideas. Each May, they host brilliant storytellers across all forms in a thoughtful, challenging, riotous fun week-long Festival of writing, books and ideas at their home at Carriageworks in Sydney's Inner West and across the city.
Throughout the year, Sydney Writers' Festival also delivers a dynamic program of events at a new literature hub for writers and booklovers at the State Library of NSW.
From everyday stories to fantastical tales, dazzling fictions to captivating life stories, and sweeping historical accounts to thought-provoking ideas, the Festival offers a rich tapestry of literary experiences.
